I have a little journey which I would like to share with everyone…
Several months ago, I decided that it was time to move to the next level in my career. I made the decision to obtain my Hearing and Lien Representative designation. Not only did I get my basic Hearing Rep Certification, I continued and got the advanced certification. So, I am now a Certified Hearing and Lien Representative, Advanced (CHLRA). The reason for this certification is that I wanted to get a business started and stop working for someone else, whether it be a Carrier or TPA, etc... I have been around the workers’ compensation realm for quite some time as you all know and holding various positions to further my knowledge. With my various expertise in work comp I feel I can tailor this business to better suit us Adjusters.
As of today, I have been laid off from the Carrier that I have been with for over 3 years (almost to the day). Although I am a little sad about losing my job, I saw this coming. I am excited to share that I have started a Settlement Walk-Through business utilizing the CHLRA designation. Over the last several months in my off time, I have been building GSS – Golden State Settlements so that when that time came, I was ready to go without a hitch. I have all my licensing, and am ready to go at the WCAB with my UAN, EAMS, etc… I am extremely thankful that I had this “plan b” in line and ready to go at a moments notice.

Here is what I am asking from you all. I am hoping you would consider me for any upcoming pro per settlements that you need to have walked through the WCAB. I will be servicing all WCAB’s and will get them done as soon as possible for you. I am keeping my rates competitive with other known walk-through businesses and would be happy to provide a discount for multiple referrals.
With the start of this business requires a great legal/case tracking system. I have decided to go with Case Friend, which is a very intuitive system and am excited about this awesome program. Please be on the lookout for the official announcement on Work Comp Central and our partnership with their program. It has a client portal as well, so you can log in and see where things are and download settlement documents, etc.
